(1) For the purpose of selecting a social worker, child specialist or child psychologist for each child court, the district court shall publish thirty days public notice and invite applications from persons who have qualified according to rule 8. .
(2) Out of the applications filed under sub-rule (1), the district court shall prepare a list of persons found suitable after necessary investigation and send it to the Ministry of Women, Children and Social Welfare.
(3) The name of the person found suitable from the list received in accordance with sub-rule (2) shall be sent to the Supreme Court by the Ministry of Women, Children and Social Welfare for consultation in accordance with sub-section (5) of section 55 of the Act.
(4) According to the list of social workers, child specialists or child psychologists received from the Supreme Court, the Ministry of Women, Children and Social Welfare may appoint a separate social worker, child specialist or child psychologist for each district court.
(5) Social workers, child specialists or child psychologists attending the child court will be provided with facilities as prescribed by the Government of Nepal.
(6) Notwithstanding anything written elsewhere in this rule, if any social worker, child specialist or child psychologist is not allowed to see the case according to the prevailing law or refuses to see the case, the social worker, child specialist designated by the concerned district judge from among the persons included in the list as per sub-rule (3) after receiving the information thereof Or a child psychologist will participate in the proceedings and disposal of the case.
